Dr. William Lowry Jr.
Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Specialist


Dr. Lowry is originally from Lake Charles and received a Bachelor of Science Degree from McNeese State University. He earned a Master's Degree in Natural Science from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge and a Medical Degree from American University of the Caribbean. Dr. Lowry completed an internship in Preliminary Medicine at LSU Medical Center in Shreveport and a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, where he served as Chief Resident.
 
Dr. Lowry's primary goal is to restore pain-free function to patients with non-surgical management and treatment options. He specializes in the treatment of musculoskeletal pain, back and neck pain, Botox treatment for spasticity and occupational and sports-related injuries. Dr. Lowry also has a special interest in electrodiagnosis (EMG). He joined the Center for Orthopaedics in 2010.
