John W. Noble, Jr., MD

My staff and I work very hard to make sure that my patients have a pleasant orthopaedic encounter. We strive for efficient services and I am continually evaluating new technologies for appropriateness in our surgical arsenal.

Dr. Noble is originally from Lake Charles, Louisiana. He received his Medical Degree from Louisiana State University Medical School in New Orleans, and completed his Orthopaedic Residency at Louisiana State University Medical Center, also in New Orleans.

Dr. Noble also completed a Fellowship in Spine Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He serves as a Clinical Instructor of Orthopaedics for Louisiana State University School of Medicine and has had research published in numerous academic journals.

Currently, Dr. Noble is participating in an FDA post-approval study for the Birmingham Hip Resurfacing system. Dr. Noble was in private practice in Rock Hill, South Carolina, for five years before returning to Lake Charles to join the Center for Orthopaedics in 2000.
