Center for Orthopaedics Names Director of Business Development

Former McNeese State University running back coach Carlos McGee is the new Director of Business Development for Center for Orthopaedics.

Originally from Port Barre, Louisiana, McGee attended McNeese where he played football for four years and earned a degree in Speech. He was a member of the McNeese football coaching staff for 12 years, working as a tight end coach and defensive backfield coach before taking the helm as running back coach in 2002.

In his new position with Center for Orthopaedics, McGee will work to strengthen the group’s relationships throughout the community and into neighboring parishes. He he bringsa breadth of experience rarely seen in the healthcare arena.

Center for Orthopaedics has locations in Lake Charles, Sulphur and DeRidder, with a staff of 11 doctors, including six orthopaedic surgeons, two physical medicine and rehabilitation specialists, two foot and ankle specialists and one hand and wrist specialist. The group serves as the team physicians and sports medicine providers for McNeese athletics.
