Steven Hale, MD, orthopaedic surgeon with the Center for Orthopaedics, was elected Second Vice-President of the Louisiana Orthopaedic Association (LOA) at the organization’s 2022 Annual Meeting in New Orleans this month.
Dr. John Noble, orthopaedic surgeon with Center for Orthopaedics, was one of three physicians in the country invited to speak at the recent Health IT Leadership Summit in Atlanta. This annual conference brings together leaders from across the healthcare continuum to discuss how the industry can drive innovation to enable better healthcare delivery at lower costs to more people. Over 1000 healthcare and information technology leaders from across the United States attended this year’s event. Dr. Noble spoke as part of a panel session, "Improving Physician Engagement through Interoperability: Understanding The Provider’s Perspective.” He discussed the Better Day health technology system being implemented at Center for Orthopaedics, which is making direct patient care truly direct again by removing the computer as a barrier, while still documenting real-time data from the exam for the EHR.
