Steven Hale, MD, orthopaedic surgeon with the Center for Orthopaedics, was elected Second Vice-President of the Louisiana Orthopaedic Association (LOA) at the organization’s 2022 Annual Meeting in New Orleans this month.
Center for Orthopaedis has announced the addition of foot and ankle specialist Kalieb Pourciau, MD, to their medical staff. He joins Dr. Tyson Green in the podiatric medicine department of the group.
Dr. Pourciau is originally from Maringouin, Louisiana, and received his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, and his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine Degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed a three-year residency in podiatric medicine and surgery at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas.
Dr Pourciau specializes in diabetic foot care, foot surgery, bunions, podiatric sports medicine, custom orthotics, hammertoes, heel pain, children’s podiatry, arthritis, and sprains and fractures of the lower extremities. Dr. Pourciau was in practice for three years at the Acadian Foot and Ankle Center in Eunice, Louisiana, before joining the Center for Orthopaedics. He will see patients at all three Center for Orthopaedics offices.
