Steven Hale, MD, orthopaedic surgeon with the Center for Orthopaedics, was elected Second Vice-President of the Louisiana Orthopaedic Association (LOA) at the organization’s 2022 Annual Meeting in New Orleans this month.
Dr. Tyson Green, foot and ankle specialist with Center for Orthopaedics, an affiliate of Imperial Health, recently attended at the American Professional Wound Care Association (APWCA) 2015 National Wound Care Conference in Philadelphia.
The APWCA is a multidisciplinary, wound care association which includes physicians, podiatrists, nurses, physical therapists, dietitians and others who manage wound care patients across the continuum of health care. The APWCA Conference provided a forum of educational sessions and interactive workshops offering comprehensive wound management strategies for multidisciplinary skin and wound care practitioners. More than 500 multidisciplinary practitioners attended this year's conference.
Dr. Green is board certified in foot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He serves on the board of the Louisiana Podiatric Medicine Association, and is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, the American Diabetes Association and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Dr. Green is also a Team Physician for McNeese State University.
