Center for Orthopaedics Athletic Training Team Expands
Center for Orthopaedics, the region’s largest musculoskeletal medical group and affiliate of Imperial Health, has added five new members to their athletic trainer staff to meet the needs of the growing number of high schools they provide sports medicine services to. New team members include:
Ariel Greene, ATC, LAT, a graduate of Kinder High School and McNeese State University. Greene is currently completing coursework to earn a Master of Science degree with a concentration in exercise physiology. She is a certified member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association and licensed by state of Louisiana.
Arkansas native Lauren Knight, MS, ATC, LAT holds an undergraduate degree in athletic training from University of Central Arkansas and a Master of Science degree in exercise physiology from McNeese State University. She is a BOC Certified Athletic Trainer and is licensed by the states of Louisiana and Texas.
Travis Theriot, ATC, LAT, a recent McNeese State University graduate and Jennings native, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in athletic training. He is a BOC Certified Athletic Trainer, and licensed by the state of Louisiana. A majority of Theriot’s clinical training experience was spent caring for McNeese State University Athletes.
Jessica Veillon, ATC, LAT, is from Westlake and earned an undergraduate degree in athletic training from McNeese State University. She will graduate with a Master of Science degree in exercise science from the University of Louisiana-Monroe in December. She is a certified member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association and licensed by the state of Louisiana.
Brenham, Texas native Lindsey Wells, ATC, LAT graduated Summa Cum Laude from McNeese State University in May with a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training. During her time at McNeese Wells was a member of the Collegiate Women’s Soccer team and was consistently recognized as a President’s Honor Roll honoree. She is a BOC Certified Athletic Trainer and a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association.
