Dr. John Noble Named LOA President
Dr. John Noble, orthopaedic surgeon with Center for Orthopaedics, an affiliate of Imperial Health, was recently installed as President of the Louisiana Orthopaedic Association, a statewide, professional membership organization comprised of 350 board certified and/or board-eligible orthopaedic surgeons.
Dr. Noble is originally from Lake Charles, Louisiana. He received his Medical Degree from Louisiana State University Medical School in New Orleans, and completed his Orthopaedic Residency at LSU Medical Center, also in New Orleans. Dr. Noble completed a Fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Noble has over 16 years of private practice experience, the last 11 of which have been at Imperial Health Center for Orthopaedics, the largest, independent musculoskeletal group in Southwest Louisiana. He serves as Medical Director for McNeese State University’s Athletic Department and as a Clinical Instructor of Orthopaedics for LSU School of Medicine.
Dr. Noble is also actively involved in orthopaedic research projects, including studies relating to new technology for cartilage growth, knee replacement, hip resurfacing and surgical technology. He is a frequent guest instructor and speaker at conferences across the country.
