Dr. Tyson Green Participates in New Cardiovascular Horizons Annual Conference
Dr. Tyson Green, foot and ankle specialist with Center for Orthopaedics, an affiliate of Imperial Health, was a featured presenter at the 2015 New Cardiovascular Horizons (NCVH) Annual Conference held in New Orleans last month. Dr. Green spoke at several sessions, providing educational information about Podiatry and Wound Care: Diabetic and Neuropathic Considerations, The Business of Wound Care, and Principles for Accelerated Wound Healing. He also participated in Rotating Hands-On Workshops.
Attended by more than 1500 healthcare professionals from across the country, NCVH provides education covering all fields of peripheral interventions to advance the field of cardiovascular care using endovascular technologies, pharmacotherapy treatments, and amputation prevention techniques. With a goal to empower healthcare providers with knowledge of head-to-toe vascular treatments, NCVH assembles a conference faculty considered preeminent in their fields to promote interdisciplinary teamwork and collaboration to address the continuum of patient care.
Dr. Green is board certified in foot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He serves on the board of the Louisiana Podiatric Medicine Association, and is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, the American Diabetes Association and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Dr. Green serves as the Medical Director of the CHRISTUS St. Patrick Wound Center and Program Director for the CHRISTUS St. Patrick Podiatric Medicine and Surgical Residency Program. He is also a Team Physician for McNeese State University.
