Tyler Mulkey, D.P.M., is a foot and ankle specialist and resident of the CHRISTUS St. Patrick Hospital Podiatric Medicine and Surgical Residency Program, which is a partnership with Imperial Health. He is the fourth doctor to enter the program, which began in 2015.
Dr. Mulkey is originally from Lincoln, Nebraska. He earned a Bachelor of Arts and Science in Biology, with a minor in Humanities in Medicine, from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. He completed a four-year Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree at the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science: Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in North Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Mulkey is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine and the American College of Foot and Ankle Orthopedics and Medicine.
As part of the residency program, which is affiliated with Center for Orthopaedics (CFO), Dr. Mulkey will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced orthopaedic surgeons and specialists, and he will also work within the group’s Sports Medicine Program, which provides services to McNeese State University and 14 area high schools.
