John W. Noble Jr., M.D., is originally from Lake Charles, Louisiana, and earned his undergraduate degree from McNeese State University in Lake Charles. He received his Medical Degree and completed his orthopaedic residency at LSU Medical School – New Orleans. He also completed a fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Noble has over 20 years of private practice experience. He joined Center for Orthopaedics in 2000.
Dr. Noble is actively involved in orthopaedic research projects involving hip and knee replacement, and is a guest instructor and speaker at conferences across the country. He is involved in patient and physician advocacy, and has served in multiple leadership roles at the state and regional level throughout his career. He is also published and has participated in resident education over the years.
Dr. Noble has served on various boards and is the Chief of Orthopaedics for Imperial Health, Southwest Louisiana’s largest multi-specialty medical group, of which Center for Orthopaedics is an affiliate. One of his passions is real estate development and he is the current organizer of Imperial Pointe, a master planned business and residential development. He is an investor and board member of Better Day Health and has an interest in helping develop improved business tools for providers and hospital systems.
