David Chandra, D.P.M. is a foot and ankle specialist resident of the CHRISTUS St. Patrick Hospital Podiatric Medicine and Surgical Residency Program. He is the seventh doctor to enter the program, which began in 2015.

Dr. Chandra is originally from Farmington Hills, Michigan. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan and earned a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from Kent State University School of Podiatric Medicine in Independence, Ohio. While pursuing his degrees, Dr. Chandra worked in a variety of medical-related positions, including as a teaching assistant, home health caregiver, emergency department scribe and research assistant. Dr. Chandra was very active in student organizations on campus and in those related to his field. These included the International Podiatric Medical Students Association, the Ohio Podiatric Medical Student Association and the American Podiatric Medical Student Association. He also participated in the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Journal Club and the St. Vincent Charity Medical Center Radiology Conference, as well as multiple medical symposia and workshops. Dr. Chandra is currently a member of the American Society of Podiatric Surgeons and the American Podiatric Medical Association.
