FAQs About OrthoExpress

If I’m not sure I have a fracture, can I still be seen at OrthoExpress?

Yes! If you have been injured and are not sure if you have a sprain, strain, broken bone, or something more serious, it is best to be seen by an orthopaedic specialist to receive an accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment to ensure a full recovery.

What conditions can be treated at OrthoExpress?

Our focus is broken bones, but we will see anyone with an orthopaedic injury. Other treatment areas include sprains, knee and shoulder injuries, sports injuries, occupational injuries, etc.

Do I need an appointment to be seen at OrthoExpress?

Yes. OrthoExpress requires an appointment prior to being seen, although most appointments are made for the same day. The reason we require an appointment to be scheduled is because some insurances require referrals, so calling ahead with your insurance information may reduce your wait time.

What insurances are accepted at OrthoExpress?

OrthoExpress accepts most major insurance plans (the same plans as Center for Orthopaedics), but questions about specific plans can be answered when you make your appointment. If you do not have insurance, a payment plan can be worked out for you.

What if I need surgery for my injury or fracture?

Upon evaluation at OrthoExpress, you will immediately be referred to one of Center for Orthopaedic’s surgeons for a comprehensive evaluation if it is determined that your injury requires surgery.

What are the hours of operation at OrthoExpress?

OrthoExpress offers same-day appointments on Monday through Friday for calls received between 8:00am and 3:30pm. Our regular office hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm.
